Captain D was so awesome! Great guy to fish with. Very encouraging and made the trip even more fun. The scenery was beautiful and we even caught some fish! I am already looking at my next charter with Captain D.

Taught us what we needed to know for fishing the Kenai River for Sockeye.  We got our limit in a little less than a hour.  That means he put us on the fish right away.  He recommended the Kasilof River to do on our own since the limit wash 6 on that river, Kenai was only 3.  I highly recommend the use of Captain D’s charter for the novice to the advanced. Knows the sport, the law, and the territory well and tries hard to adapt to conditions to get fish in the boat. Could use a little more explanation of what to do and expect up front for young or inexperienced clients and after action comments could be considered a little rushed or critical. He is heavy on the fishing and not as much on everything that goes with it. More experienced anglers would likely consider Dustin a 5 Star guide.

Had a great experience with Dustin! We caught 30+ fishes within 2 hours because of Dustin’s amazing instructions and experience. He is also very communicative and responsive, with a great personality that just shines during the whole trip. He truly takes pride in what he is doing. If you are in the Kenai Peninsula, definitely give Dustin a call and set up a trip. Trust me, you will NOT regret.
