Great day on the Kenai. Caught 30 sockeye in 2 hours!!!
This was my second time in as many years fishing for sockeye with Dustin. He was great. Took us to the right spots, and worked around where the fish were biting to get us to limit in just a couple hours. Highly recommend him for anyone considering a guided trip. He has great knowledge, is helpful to novices like myself, and works hard to help you fill your freezer.
Dustin was great. Very communicative keeping us informed of the changing conditions and where we would have the best chance of catching the most fish, showed up early, had all the needed gear (even had waders for my son and I), shared a lot of knowledge with us, which was great as we were both novices. And best of all, we caught the limit in about two hours! Thanks Dustin!
It’s a shame that my boys 10 and 15 had never been fishing before this, but we picked the right guide with Dustin. Dustin was absolutely responsive from the initial booking and fully exceeded our expectations especially since we did not know what to expect. He met the challenge of our inexperience by providing all equipment, escorting us to a great spot and patiently showed the boys and I how to fish. Dustin continually gave pointers about technique. Even when my 15y/o asked question after question about fish preparation, Dustin took the time to make sure he understood everything. It was a fantastic experience and the boys can not wait to go again. They have specifically requested that we go with Dustin next time. I hope that Dustin will let us go with him again after my 10 y/o snagged him. We couldn’t have asked for a better day on the river. See you next year Dustin!

Dustin is hands down the best guide you could have. We had the best time, learned alot, and caught some fish. Total we caught 4 Sockeyes, a Jack (which is a young king salmon) and a couple of kings that didn't stay on. When we started fishing there were a number of boats trolling the same area. Then.....Bam my line goes. I reeled in a King Salmon, 35-40 lbs and somewhere between 42-46 inches. I however could not keep this fish as you could only keep Kings under 34". It was the best fun. Dustin is your guy, not just a great guide but a great stand up guy who says something and follows thru. You want a great time, CALL DUSTIN
