This was a great trip with Capt Blake! I chose this trip to take my 5 year old grandson out for his first saltwater experience and we got that and more. I have taken other shark trips and we usually catch small to mid size sharks, today on the first cast we hooked into something thing big that quickly broke the line. From top to bottom that was an amazing experience. We reeled in a variety of fish: Amberjack, Red Snapper, Red Grouper, Vermillion Snapper (of course, keeping only those in season). Captain Blake was a great teacher to two first time ocean fishers, making sure to set us up and give us the guiding hand we needed each step of the way. 100% recommend. Hot water temps made the red snapper bite lethargic, Capt. Blake went above and beyond to put us on the fish. He saw we had a young child on board with us and took it upon himself to grab a bottle of Pedialyte, was very thoughtful. We came home with a mess of Vermillion and a nice Mangrove… and if we were a little better anglers we would have had A LOT more in the box! All in all, Capt. Blake did a great job of putting us on the fish.  Once we started catching.  The sharks got us.  We moved about 4 times.  Took such good care of us we had 5 boys that this was their first time.  I believed they loved it they are cooking our dinner of fish tonight!! Thanks again

My wife and I have fished all over North and Central America, using many guides and we have never experienced the quality and knowledge of our fishing guide.
