Fall cobia fishing

Cobia have been immigrating back through the Destin area. For the last few weeks we have been hooking up with a few larger sizes. Cobia is known for being one of the best eat fishing in salt water.

Red snapper season is booking quick

Looks like we are going to have another awesome red snapper season in the Destin area. The season is from the 2 week of June the the end of July. Season time frame is subject to changes by the state of Florida. Bookings are going quickly. Definitely don't wait too long to book before all of the dates are gone. Thanks for a fantastic review. Definitely a slower day than normal. Between the full moon cycle and a little cold front, the fish were a little stubborn. We were able to get on a very nice shark to make the trip one to remember. Hope to see you again on your 1 year anniversary, next spring or summer. Captain James

Captain James did a bang up job through and through. We had awesome time on our trip. The boat was very clean and well maintained. He did a very good job of getting us on fish and making sure we didn’t waste too much time on a spot where the bite wasn’t good. I’d highly recommend.

Despite some rough seas Capt. James worked hard to put us on fish. We got our Red Snapper limit along with some shorts and a nice Red Grouper that unfortunately was out of season. I highly recommend Apex Charters and Capt. James. Would definitely do again but with calmer seas!
