He's a fun person who loves to take out families, kids, beginners, and seasoned anglers. No challenge is too great for this knowledgeable and patient captain! Capt. Tim works alongside Captain Matt Doozan, another avid angler, who brings even more to the table (literally)! With these two specialists on board, you're in for a very productive day.

    Grandpa, son and two grandsons had a blast!

    3 Hour Trip – Lake Macatawa • 4 adults • 2 children

    This trip was our first time to fish on water. Our experience had been very limited fishing from the neighborhood pond. I’m so glad we booked this adventure. We landed 6 of 18 “fish on line” with my 6yr old grandson reeling in 3 for day. The crew were young but very knowledgeable since they grew up working on the boats. The 3hour tour was the perfect time for us 1st timers. We all had a great time! The only thing that I wished they had was a scale to weigh the fish we caught for bragging rights 🤣🤣

    Great trip for everyone involved!

    Full Day Trip – Lake Michigan • 4 adults

    I took my in-laws and pregnant wife out with Captain Nate and Randy for a full 7hr day. It was awesome! They did not hesitate to share knowledge, and they worked their ass off to make sure we had fish. Nate is one of the captains that is constantly on the water, so I highly recommend asking for Captain Nate and Randy with Powderhorn Fishing

    outstanding trip

    Half Day Trip (AM) – Lake Michigan • 4 adults

    we went out with Captain Nate and Ethan. Both were great. we hit fish almost immediately and had 4 within an hour or so and ended up with 9 total. they worked hard to keep us on fish all trip. we got our last one in the last 15 min of fishing so it was perfect. they made it very easy for us. they were enjoyable to hang out with for the 5 hrs of our trip. definitely recommend. thank you!

    Half Day Trip (PM) – Lake Michigan • 5 adults

    Our fishing trip with Tim at Lake Michigan was an awesome experience! When we arrived, the weather wasn’t looking great — the water was choppy, and there were some waves. Tim was very honest and professional about the situation. He carefully assessed the conditions, explained that it was safe to go out, but still gave us the option to cancel with a full refund if we weren’t comfortable. We decided to go, and it turned out to be the right choice — the weather cleared up, and we ended up catching six good fish despite the tough conditions. Tim was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone had a great time on the water. Highly recommend this trip!
