Powderhorn Sportfishing offers to take you aboard its second boat and provide you with a fun and enjoyable fishing trip in Holland, Michigan. You and Captain Tim Becker will embark on the beautiful waters of Lake Macatawa as well as Lake Michigan and have a great time chasing various fish species. With the captain's skills and the area's great fisheries, you're bound to have a successful and fun time on the water. Pick a day that suits you and create lovely memories fishing these beautiful lakes!
The boat you'll be using is a 33' long and 12.5' wide Wellcraft offshore sport fishing boat. Weighing in at 17,500 pounds, it provides great stability in any water. It can accommodate up to 6 guests and runs on twin 330 HP engines. The boat uses all the most up-to-date navigation electronics you could use and fishing equipment for the perfect day on the water. It's got a stand-up toilet, a kitchen, bed, and is even wheelchair-accessible. The boat also features outriggers, a livewell, refrigerator, and a first mate as well.
You and the captain will be trolling the lakes for Freshwater Drum, Chinook Salmon, and Lake, Brown, and Rainbow Trout. Kids are welcome to come aboard and you get to keep the fish you catch.
Captain Tim will supply all the rods, reels, tackle, and lures you'll need for the trip. He can also clean and fillet your catch at no extra cost. Before you start the trip, remember to bring your licenses, food, and drinks.

This trip was our first time to fish on water. Our experience had been very limited fishing from the neighborhood pond. I’m so glad we booked this adventure. We landed 6 of 18 “fish on line” with my 6yr old grandson reeling in 3 for day. The crew were young but very knowledgeable since they grew up working on the boats. The 3hour tour was the perfect time for us 1st timers. We all had a great time! The only thing that I wished they had was a scale to weigh the fish we caught for bragging rights 🤣🤣

fantastic experience! we had an almost 5yr old, 8yr old, and 10yr old. this was a first time fishing beyond creek/small lake/land fishing for most of us. the 3hr excursion was a great option - ideal time of day and length of time. we got many fish! same kind but that was to be expected. the captian and his co-captain in training were great company with fun stories. would recommend and will book the longwr bigger trip next summer!

when you find a charter team that makes the experience pleasant no matter how the fish are biting, you stick with them. powderhorn has been that for us. only reason we were a little "light" on fish this time was because some of us (won't name names) couldn’t seal the deal and land their chances... we'll be back with powderhorn again in the near future for sure.

We had an absolutely wonderful time on our fishing trip — truly an experience to remember. It was the first time my boys had ever been on a trip like this, and it couldn’t have gone better. Captain Tim and the crew went above and beyond to make it fun, engaging, and memorable for everyone. We ended up with more salmon than we know what to do with, but even more than the catch, it was the experience that made the trip so special. Captain Tim was fantastic about working with us and making sure the boys had the best time possible. They couldn’t stop talking about it for the rest of our vacation — they were completely hooked (no pun intended). I’m incredibly grateful for the time, care, and energy that went into making this such a great day. We’re already looking forward to our next trip!

We had a fantastic time on our trip! It was a birthday gift for our 11 year-old and the crew were amazing and super accommodating, plus we ended up catching some absolute monster fish. It was a great time and I would highly recommend it.
