It was very accommodating for our schedule.  The captain noticed that it might rain during our trip out and recommended us changing it to the day before,  because with the rain coming the walleye might not be biting.  We took his advice and went the day before and caught our limit in 2 hours.  He was great and taught us a few things too.

This was my second trip and Captain Mike pre-warned me that a bad storm was coming and gave me the option to cancel or proceed with the trip.  I decided to proceed and Captain Mike and First Mate Jim worked very hard.  We did catch a few fish as shown in the picture but did not catch our limit due to the incoming storm.  I would highly recommend Makin Waves and will continue to use them.

Captain Mike and Mark made this a great trip! We were celebrating our daughter’s birthday because she loves to fish! She caught the biggest fish of the day. I’m not sure who was happier my daughter or Captain Mike! They made this such a smooth trip and explained everything to us. When we got back on land Captain Mike helped us bring our fish over to a guy that cleaned the fish for us. You don’t even have to leave to find somewhere to clean the fish for you. As soon as Captain Scott got us to our spot, we got lines in and started catching fish. We were limited out in less than two hours!  Scott was great, the boat was roomy and comfortable,  and the walleye cooperated!!

3 of my grand children and I booked a half day fishing trip with Captain Mike.  After I initially scheduling for a day with rough weather forecasted, Mike called and recommended rescheduling the next day.  We did as recommended and had good weather and good fishing.  We found fish quickly after leaving the dock and were catching fish the entire time.
