we finished three days with Carlos and this operation was above excellent. The operators picked us up every morning and provided lunch licenses Bait and an extremely experienced Captain. As a professional Guide and Outfit are in Montana I cannot say enough about how great this operation was thank you very much.

This was my 2nd time fishing in Loreto and the first time booking with Rubio Sportfishing. It is a well run family business. They do a great job setting you up for a successful trip. This was our first charter here in Loreto. Our captain picked us up in the bay by our resort and we were off. They supplied everything needed for the day. Drinks, food, live bait, liscense for all. After about 55 minute ride we fished for about 20 minutes and our captain Tacho said we were moving. While going to a second spot he was chatting on the radio and now we were moving in another direction. As we pulled about about 45 minutes later we noticed two mother boats. Captain took us out pretty far and we were hitting some bass and red all @5 lbs. We stayed a couple huors and then took us to one of his spots off the outlying islands and caught a 30Lb Yellow tail! Once we got back they fileted, vaccupack everything and we were off to have a great dinner. We had a blast and would highly recommend Rubio!

I’ve been fishing Baja nearly my whole life but it’s been over 20 years since I last visited Loreto. Big mistake. If you really want to experience Baja and its beauty then you need to fish with Rubios. Well maintained boat, fresh bait, gear & tackle well maintained, captain that knows how to fish and most important the kindness, hospitality and service is made to make you feel like family.  Yes we caught plenty of fish!
