What a great experience! Rubio sport fishing did not disappoint. The communication was timely and our captain, Jesus, worked really hard to put us on some fish. Our captain Alfredo Rubio was awesome and very engaging. It was my 12-year-old son’s first time, and he caught a Sail Fish (released), 2 12-pound white fish and ....... a 25 lb. Yellow Tail which was delicious after Alfredo filleted it for us. 5 hrs. later we were having ceviche and grilling fillets. Our fishing trip was exactly what I paid for. Since it was my first time fishing in Loreto, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. Headed down south 20+ miles and got into some bruiser yellowtail, got 3 very good grade 10-12kg broke off 2, hooked/released a couple of sharks. The reels weren’t 2 speed maybe that would have made the difference to keep them off the rocks.
