Brought my husband out for a birthday surprise fishing trip and I could not have chose a better captain than David Rooney! We caught limits on both Bass and Halibut, and learned lots of new techniques. We will be back soon for another fun filled day! If you want to catch something other than a buzz book with David.

Captain David is an amazing human being! He was so accommodating with me and my two teenage boys. He has great knowledge on fishing and knows the right spots and the timing and the technique. He is patient. We caught a number of halibut as he predicted. But he didn’t oversell anything and ask for any tips (compared to a horrible experience I had in Hawaii with different charter where they kept demanding tips even when we caught nothing!).
David filleted the fish we caught without wasting any meat. Overall 5 star experience. Can’t wait to go on a fishing trip with David again!

Captain Dave and Aaron were awesome and so much fun. Captain Dave has over 30 years experience and makes it his business to know exactly where people are on the bite. I Wilks highly recommend Dave for any fishing you can do in around the Bay.  We will be booking another trip when Sturgeon season opens.

Most beautiful day. Dave and Arron were most pleasant.  My sons and I are hard core fishermen and we can recognize quality guides. These were the best. But we got lucky on the weather, lucky on the bite.  I’m 75 and have been fishing all my life. I will always remember this day.
