Captain was easy to communicate with throughout the process. The Captain and crew was very nice and professional and seemed to be prepared. We had a great time with Captain John and First Mate Jake. I took my daughter and 2 grandsons, it was a first for all of us and a time to remember. Captain John and Jake were both very knowledgeable about where to go and what to watch for. Jake was right there with us keeping our hooks baited and educating us on the waters off South Padre and the surrounding area.

Just facts here: -captain said two sentences to our group -2hr boat ride to the reef. (No trolling) 2hr back. -equipment/boat dirty and unkempt -fast fishing style. The crew was great, it was beautiful day. Unfortunantly no catches, it was definitely a day of fishing. Tried multiple locations, multiple types of bait it was just one of those days. Great convo with the crew and overall good experience.

It was a great trip for those who haven’t ever fished off shore. We caught what we could, the crew was patient and showed us the ropes. Laid back and made the most of the elements!
