I would highly recommend this charter.  It was my first time on a fishing charter and well I was nervous at first.  However Donny and Owen made it easy to get relaxed.  I can’t say enough about this team, absolutely great pair.  We caught fish and had a great time.  They were very accommodating, great sense of humor and just all around a great time.  I will definitely recommend this charter hands down and we will for sure be doing this again.  Hopefully very soon.  I loved it   Thank you Donny and Owen for making it a great first time.

The trip was awesome right from the word “Go”!! Capt. Don even reached out ahead of our scheduled trip date and time and offered/recommended that we go a day earlier… and it was great call.. The weather was perfect.  My lifelong friend and I took our sons ( they are God brothers) on the excursion. It’s something we’ll always remember.  We caught some huge fish, lost a couple of monsters, but the adventure was great. Capt. Don is an awesome guy. Well equipped boat, we went twenty miles off shore in no time!!  Well stocked with supplies rods and reels. We really enjoyed his guidance, expertise, and conversations.  Super nice guy and made sure he did everything to ensure the trip was what we expected. First mate Tyler was top notch as well. Great guy, hard worker, and great to talk to. He made sure all of us were prepared and ready to battle and catch. Even if we hadn’t caught a single fish, it would have been a great trip (but we DID catch some big boys..enough for many dinners). Tyler filleted the fish in no time.  I highly recommend Tried and True Charters.

Captain Donny took us to a few different spots, got us on a huge cobia, had a shark in the boat, saw dolphins and more. Seas were rough but he gave us a great time on the water. The first mate is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, these guys know what they’re doing. Highly recommend to anyone looking to put fish in the boat and make memories.

Captain Don took my family out (4 and 6 boys) for their first true boat and fishing trip.  Don was so great with my boys! Made the trip all about the boys! Their patience are minimal but he knew right where to go to catch like 10+ little croakers! My little one just wanted to go fast so of course we did that too! Would highly recommend!!!!
