  So fun we booked another day!

  4 Hour Trip – deep sea trolling on January 31, 2024

  We booked a 4 hour fishing day with Captin Edmundo and had so much fun we ended up booking a 2nd day for fishing/snorkling. My husband is an avid fisherman in the states but Edmundo and his crew had advice and techniques that were so helpful for successful saltwater fishing. We started out by catching our own fresh bait We did some bottom fishing as well as trolling. We caught 3 Amberjack and 3 Mutten Snapper. The restaurant cooked our fillets and it was the best we’ve ever had! We gave Edmundo what we didn’t need and he cooked Ceviche for all the other boats in the harbor. The 2nd day he took us fishing for an hour (Caught one Amberjack) and then snorkeling on a beautiful reef. While we snorkeled, he made Ceviche with the fish for our lunch. Edmundo, Juan, Charlie and Barato were fantastic!! We will book Edmundo again!

  Half day fishing/snorkeling trip with Captain Edmundo

  This was, by far, our favorite experience in visiting beautiful Cancun! Our family of four (two kids 7,9) spent a wonderful morning on Captain Edmundo’s boat, fishing and snorkeling. Afterwards the fishermen cleaned the fish, and we enjoyed delicious fresh cooked fish and ceviche (best we have ever had!) prepared at the lovely cafe where the boats dock. This was the favorite excursion of everyone in our family. Captain Edmundo and his skipper, Balto (sp?) were warm, fun, funny and accommodating. We highly recommend it!! Muchas gracias!

  My girlfriend and I had a very enjoyable time fishing with Edmundo and Gustavo . Their English was great which made our trip more enjoyable with no language barrier. Our arms were sore the next day from reeling in all of the fish. I would book with them again with no hesitation.   Awesome day of fishing!

  8 Hour Trip – Action and Fun on July 18, 2024 • 2 adults

  My wife and I booked the eight hour trip. We started out trolling and had a some misses and kept at it and got a couple of barracudas. Edmundo and Gustavo were very nice and took care of everything. We were scheduled to take a break and snorkel in Half Moon Bay, but we wanted to see if we could catch some Mahi Mahi. We ended up catching a beautiful Mahi Mahi, and then we did some bottom fishing and caught a lot of fish. We had a great time, and would definitely book with Captain Edmundo again.

  Great Time With Edmund and Crew

  4 Hour Trip – deep sea trolling on January 31, 2024 • 4 adults

  We went out on the water with Edmund and a couple of his team members two days in a row, first day was fishing and the second was a combination of fishing and snorkeling. First, the area we went to meet Edmund felt very safe, we pulled up to a bunch of fishermen and other groups going out fishing for the day. There is a restaurant right there on the beach that people were grabbing coffee in and using to go to the bathroom before taking off on the water. Fishing was cool, caught two amberjack, and prior to fishing we stopped and caught some live bait where we got into a few snapper on hand lines. After we got off the water there is a restaurant right there that will cook up your food, unbelievable meal! Day 2 we started our day out fishing again, got into a nicer amberjack and fished a bit more. Once we were done with that Edmund took us a to a popular snorkeling spot in a shallow bay over a coral reef, it was incredible, tons of sea life! While we snorkeled he and his deckhand made fresh ceviche for us that we enjoyed before heading back home, this was collectively our favorite day on the water and I would highly recommend it! Overall we had an awesome experience, one I would recommend to anyone visiting the Playa Del Carmen area!
