It was so awesome ! Capt knew just where the fish were . Also the biggest catch was a 39 Red ! Definitely will choose Captain Zack again:)

Spent one family day fishing with two adults and teenage son.  My 16 yr old is an avid fisherman and he spent a second day fishing with Capt Zach.  The time with Zach was spent catching fishing and lots of easy conversation and laughs.  Having never fished Baffin Bay, and prior to our scheduled trips, Zach met us at the little bait shop in Riviera and set us up with the right stuff for pier fishing.  Zach recommended areas to take our kayaks and the best local restaurants.  Capt Zach goes... Started as a cold morning for south Texas. Being from Minnesota it was balmy. Water temp was cool, but off we went. Zach new just where we were heading. 6 miles of cool Tx breeze. Dropped anchor and started fishing. To slow he says. So we moved 200 yards and spent the next four hours there.  During the course of that time we filled the box. Not all were keepers, but many of fish were caught on many a cast.

Was a great day. Baffin Bay was flat. Partly cloudy and Capt Zach knew right where the fish would be. Limited out on drum in 50 min then moved locations and waded for trout and reds. Caught 5 reds and over 15 trout. Went back out duck hunting that afternoon and limited on Redheads, 2 pintails and a bluebill. Great time would definitely do it again.
