A great first time experience for my group!  It was towards the end of season so, we couldn’t expect too much, but definitely well worth it with the several monster fish we caught! We wanted our son to have a fantastic fishing experience for his 11th birthday, and Captain Chris did not disappoint. Not only did we catch some fish, but my nephew also learned a lot about how to fillet a fish from Captain Chris and his crew. We will definitely be booking him again.

Capitan Chris Rugg knows this water like palm of his hand ! I wasn’t expecting to catch many fish in a slow season we were fishing, we caught 3 lake trout, 4 kings and don’t laugh! a 10-12 lb flathead catfish, it was delicious .

Captain Chris was great! He had great communication and worked so hard to make sure that we caught plenty of fish. We had a wonderful time and are excited to book our next trip with him.

Even though the bite was slow, it was great being on the water and spending time with two of my children. Sometimes it is forgotten that the fish don’t know you are there for them to be caught and just don’t cooperate. Captain Chris extended are outing for a good while and the last 30 minutes made all the difference in our catch rate.
