I grew up fishing with family and friends in southern New Jersey. My first real job was as a first mate on a sportfisher, and I have crewed on a handful of boats professionally and for fun. I have fished waters around Atlantic City for 50 years and have held a captain's license for over 20 of those years. I book one trip per day to be able to offer my clients the best possible time and tides for their trip. I'll always suggest the best time to fish so pay no attention to the default 7AM time listed. The tides change by almost an hour every day.

    Great First Ocean Fishing Experience with Captain Bob!

    My son and I went ocean fishing together for the first time, and we had a fantastic experience with Captain Bob. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the local waters, and took us to some of his own special fishing spots, which made the trip even more enjoyable. It was also my very first time fishing, and Captain Bob was incredibly patient in explaining everything and helping me along the way. He made us feel comfortable from the beginning and made the whole experience fun and memorable. We had a great time and would definitely recommend Captain Bob to anyone looking for a fun and family-friendly fishing trip!

    Capt. Bob Put Us On The Fish

    My son and I had an awesome trip with Captain Bob! He adjusted our start time perfectly for the tides, and by the third spot, it was non-stop action. Hit after hit, fish after fish—we completely lost count of the flounder we caught. My son even reeled in a stingray and a 4+ foot shark! Captain Bob was incredibly chill to hang out with, super fast at unhooking fish, and kept our lines right back in the water. Fantastic energy and a great vibe all around. Highly recommend

    Fishing with Bob

    We had an awesome time fishing with Captain Bob! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked hard to put us on the fish. We were out on the bay and caught plenty of fish, which made for a great day on the water. He made the trip enjoyable for everyone, whether you’re experienced or it’s your first time fishing. I would definitely recommend Captain Bob to anyone looking for a fun and successful fishing charter. We’ll definitely be booking another trip!

    Tons of Sharks!

    4 Hours – 2 Anglers • 2 adults • 1 child

    My son and I went out with Bob for a 4-hour trip. We caught a total of 8 dusky sharks, the biggest somewhere over 6 ft!! Bob was very engaging, patient, and very knowledgeable. We had a great day and i hope we can do it againg sometime soon!!

    much needed guys trip

    We love our wives and kids but it wes jice to ber away for a few hours. Captain Bob was knowledgeable about the local fishing holes and the various types of fish that occupy them. we had a great time.

Fishing is still going strong in September, especially if you're chasing Billfish and Tuna. Inshore, things are equally good, with plenty of Flounder, Porgy, and Black Seabass for everyone.
