Hello and thank you for your interest in Logos and fishing in Atlantic City.
Captain Bob takes one or two passengers for a personal fishing experience. All gear, tackle, licenses, and bait are included, along with bottled water and snacks. Anglers of all ages and experience levels are welcome. Fishing with Captain Bob is like fishing with a friend.
The boat is a 2003, 20-foot Aquasport Osprey powered by a 115hp Yamaha 4-stroke motor. It cruises at 27 mph and reaches prime fishing spots in minutes. The boat is equipped with a trolling motor, state-of-the-art electronics to better locate fish, and a marine VHF radio for safety. It is docked at The Golden Nugget/Frank S. Farley State Marina.
Depending on the time of year, Captain Bob targets species such as Summer Flounder, Striped Bass, Weakfish, Bluefish, Triggerfish, Tautog, Sheepshead, Croaker, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Sea Robin, Cow Nosed Rays, and various types of Sharks. Most trips take place on the bay, so seasickness is typically not a concern.
Fishing is usually done with light and medium tackle provided on board, but fly fishermen and other anglers are welcome to bring their own equipment.
Guests planning to take fish home are advised to bring a cooler with ice. Captain Bob is happy to clean and bag the catch.
Passengers should dress appropriately for the weather and bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat for shade, and bug spray. Shoes that won’t leave marks on the boat are recommended—most sneakers are fine. Adult beverages (in moderation), cigars, and cigarettes are permitted.
Captain Bob frequently updates his fishing reports, which guests are encouraged to review.
Please note that Fishing Booker’s departure times are approximate, as Captain Bob fishes the tides, which shift by about an hour each day. When a trip is booked, Captain Bob will recommend the best fishing times, but guests may choose to fish in the morning or afternoon as they prefer.
