- I grew up fishing with family and friends in southern New Jersey. My first real job was as a first mate on a sportfisher, and I have crewed on a handful of boats professionally and for fun. I have fished waters around Atlantic City for 50 years and have held a captain's license for over 20 of those years. I book one trip per day to be able to offer my clients the best possible time and tides for their trip. I'll always suggest the best time to fish so pay no attention to the default 7AM time listed. The tides change by almost an hour every day.
- Techniques
- I love light tackle fishing. Matching the tackle to the fish makes for a fun fight. Besting a larger fish on light tackle is a thrill. I do sometimes use heavier tackle if I have to. Jigging artificials, live-lining, plugging, popping, and even trolling...whatever puts them in the boat
