This was absolutely the best fishing trip we have done we are avid fishers from Alberta Canada and we didn’t know what to expect with fishing in San Francisco, Neil made the trip fun and memorable it was like going out with a friend. Fantastic 1/2 day fishing trip with Captain Dave and Neil! We headed out into the ocean and caught lots of rockfish — everyone in our group landed fish. Dave and Neil were super knowledgeable and gave great instructions. Beautiful views of the Marin Headlands made it even better (previously we only fished in the Bay). Hands down - it was awesome! Purchased as a birthday present for my boyfriend. Not sure who had more fun me or him. The 10 hour fishing charter did not disappoint. Captain David & First Mate Neil were both knowledgeable and helpful. We caught perch, stripped bass (which was delicious), halibut, bat rays, brown smooth hound sharks and leopard sharks during our trip. Would definitely recommend Warrior Poet Sport Fishing!

David and Neil knew exactly where to take us and put us on the fish . In 30 minutes we were on the stripers.! Limited out in an hour-went onto the rock fish , limited out there and then went searching for halibut! What a day! I would recommend Captain David, who is very knowledgeable about the area! It was an unforgettable day! We’ve charted other tours before, and this definitely ranks at the top!

Booked this as part of our short trip to San Francisco and was so happy with our experience. The captain and his assistant were friendly and knowledgeable.  They were that great mix of funny, patient, and sarcastic when dealing with our teenagers, who had a good time. Got see quite a bit of the bay atea as well. Would definitely charter with them again if ever in the area. Highly recommend.
