The captain and his office had very good communication from the start about where the boat was and making sure they knew our goals for the trip. 3 of us went fishing on a beautiful day and caught about 25 fish over six hours, mostly Spanish Mackerel. Of all the boats we reviewed, we somehow picked the best of all by chance! Our Captain was so good…knowledgeable of the local waters and eager to make our day a great day. Within 30 minutes of leaving the dock,  we were catching fish like mad! Our friendly and fun first mate Jonathan was kept busy hauling in the lines, baiting hooks and keeping us entertained with local tales of the sea. We saw a school of dolphins, and oyster farms. It was a fun trip, we got to see wildlife, two giant leatherback turtles. Josh was very informative, he had a lot of information about the history of this area and of things to do in Nags Head. Cain was welcoming.

We had a great short trip on the water and was able to put 16 fish in the boat. Great captain, great boat owners, great experience and would highly recommend them to anyone!

We had a fantastic trip on the Miss Nell.  We were a group of 3 kids and 3 adults and the trip surpassed our expectations. Both the captain and first mate were great the whole time, we caught a good number of fish, and everyone wants to do it again next summer. We’ll definitely be booking again with Miss Nell in the future!
