Today, my friends and I spent a wonderful day fishing in Dallas with Captain Gilbert Miller from GTB Outdoors, who provided an outstanding guide service. From morning till afternoon, he was incredibly thorough in helping us change baits, ensuring we were always using the best gear for the conditions. He showed great patience with my beginner friend, guiding him step-by-step on how to cast, handle the rod, and even deal with the catch, making him feel both comfortable and confident. What thrilled me most was that, with his help, I updated my personal best (PB) by landing an amazing fish! The entire day was filled with learning, fishing, and enjoying the beautiful scenery, and Gilbert’s passion for fishing was truly infectious. It was a joyful and unforgettable experience. I booked the full day instructional trip with Captain Gilbert. I was having issues transferring from pond hopping to learning how to fish on a lake, and he had some great advice and tips and lessons on how to adjust for lake fishing as well as things to add to my skill set. On top of this, he was extremely friendly, patient, great at explaining things at the different levels I needed it, and easy to get along with! I’ve done several salt water fishing charters and been wanting to get into fresh water. Gilbert gave my son and I a great experience. We both were able to catch our first bass. The boat was in immaculate condition. Most important Captain Gilbert was very friendly and knowledgeable.  Would definitely recommend for all ages. Especially if you are wanting to take the little one.
