Had a great afternoon trip with Captain Matt. While fishing was a bit slow at times, Captain Matt’s effort and attitude went above and beyond.  In the end, my daughter reeled in the largest catch of her life which made the day memorable and special. We’ll be back for another trip soon.

Matt is an excellent captain! He explained what we were fishing for (striper bass), hauled our fish in, & was easygoing (shared information about boats in the harbor, gave restaurant recommendations, & had an upbeat vibe the entire trip). Would book again if we were to return to Gloucester!

We had a great time with Captain Matt, he was very friendly, responsive and proactive with communication and prioritized us enjoying our trip. Catching some huge fish was a big plus too! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun fishing adventure.

Capt Cooney was accommodating, fun and knowledgeable. Trip got off to a slow start, but he found an amazing spot and each of us got stripers within an inch of each other, dead in the legal limit.  Beautiful weather couldn’t ask for a better day will be returning customers.

Took my sons (17, 13) and daughter (12) on their first deep sea fishing trip and had a blast. Captain Matt helped the kids feel comfortable on the boat and while using the equipment. The kids enjoyed the experience and want to venture into a longer trip next time.
