The wind has been giving us been giving us some issues, but there's always protected areas that can make an amazing day. Yesterday was just that. I'd plan to make the long run back into the park, but I decided not to fight the wind and stay closer to home. We had some awesome sight fishing for Snook and had tons of other species to hand, today.

There's been some nice fishing in the park for Tarpon, but the tax man also knows the fishing is good. We jumped 7 Tarpon today, and over half of them got sharked today. Some days are worse than others, and today was a good day to be a Shark. I have dates open in September if you'd like to hop aboard and go Tarpon fishing.

We've been catching a lot of juvenile Goliath lately around downtown Islamorada and out in the Glades. Most average, anywhere from 3 to 40lbs and can offer some really good pulls without wearing you out like the bigger ones.
