We started out slow, no fish or bites for a few hours, with a lot of northerly winds which inverted the water temps; Ryan kept trying different spots, 6 or7; we then tried some deep water spots, and after I put on my lucky hat we hit five nice lakers, including about a ten pounder I hit; Ryan knows lake Cuyahoga inside and out and was very persistent and did not give up, and he let us fish about an hour longer to catch some more fish; I highly recommend Ryan, he has this jigging techniques down to a science and it works well when you find feeding trout, ; we had a great trip, even though it did not start out well

My husband and I recently went out on a trout fishing charter and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Captain Ryan was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about fishing, which made the trip both fun and educational.

Ryan is committed to providing his clients an excellent angling experience and a great day out. He knows the river and we hooked into many steelhead trout of all sizes. We drifted and plugged and were in fishing mode all day. When you hook fish on Ryan’s boat, he is very patient and provides steady instruction to give you the best chance of landing your fish to the boat. Captain Ryan was exceptional! We booked a 6-hour trip, but Ryan generously extended our time by an extra hour without us even asking.
