Locked With Lorensen - Cayuga & Otisco Lake 

Second time out with Ryan after catching a boat load if monster lake trout at Cayuga. today, he led us to at leat 20 count at Otisco … including 6 tigers - with 2 monsters easily over 10 lbs each. Great, patience guide

We had a very successful trip catching lake trout for the first time thanks to Ryan… we would absolutely book with him again! 

Ryan is very knowledgeable and was a great guide. I certainly would recommend him for any of the multiple different charters he does.

We started out slow, no fish or bites for a few hours, with a lot of northerly winds which inverted the water temps; Ryan kept trying different spots, 6 or7; we then tried some deep water spots, and after I put on my lucky hat we hit five nice lakers, including about a ten pounder I hit; Ryan knows lake Cuyahoga inside and out and was very persistent and did not give up, and he let us fish about an hour longer to catch some more fish; I highly recommend Ryan, he has this jigging techniques down to a science and it works well when you find feeding trout, ; we had a great trip, even though it did not start out well

This is third trip with Captain Ryan from Locked with Lorensen. He has always put us on the fish, knows, the lures to use, and provides the techniques to achieve a great presentation that the fish can't resist. The boat and his fishing gear are top notch, and he is always prompt, courteous and is very good with communication and follow up. Ryan is a talented fish photographer also, and will help you showcase that nice rainbow trout or lake trout for a memorable picture, whether you are keeping or releasing. This trip and all the other trips I have booked with Ryan have exceed expectations. I keep coming back and each experience eclipses the last one. A helpful bit of advice for those looking to book an epic experience with Locked With Lorensen is to book early. His calendar fills up quickly. I like booking two half days, back to back.

Ryan is more than a guide, he’s a teacher. Ryan creates an experience that allows you catch as many fish possible, but more importantly teach you the right way to do it. We finished with nearly over 10 catches on the day, and all with healthy releases. I always leave Ryan with new information and knowledge, while also a super exciting and fun day.

Ryan was an amazing guide. You can definitely tell he loves what he does and makes every effort to get you on the bite. Highly recommend.

We had an awesome overall experience. Captain Ryan took us to various spots around the lake to find fish. He was very informative and taught us proper technique to lure fish along with baiting multiple poles to increase our chance of catching a variety of fish. We were able to use several different lures and rigs and had a blast learning how to use them. At the end of our trip, fish began hitting and we had the best time. Highly recommend.

We got the nice day we were all hoping for . Before going out with Ryan are group was clueless on where to find the big-gins .Fortunately for is that was all handled by captain Lorenson . We were laughing and over joyed all day on the water . Found many honey holes . All equipment was organized maintained and on point all matching . As well as the captain was fun and exciting also could back the boat into the water .. Thanks would do it again .

Early morning on Cayuga. 5 min ride across lake, set up, drop in, jigged for 3 hours and landed 3, trolled for 3 hours and landed another 6 or so. Me and my 11 year old. Son lost a couple, cuz it's not easy, but he landed the largest of the day, and that one whooped him. So much fun. Luckily it was cloudy for the first 5 hours, then it got hot fast. Definitely recommended. Captain's skills and equipment were top notch.
