My husband, myself, & our twin 10-year old boys had a wonderful trip with Daryl. The boat was great, the fishing equipment was more than effective, the lake was lovely, Daryl was very patient and kind, not to mention the great fish we caught to take home. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to enjoy a boat on the lake and hopefully take home some delicious fish. We will most definitely be back to fish with Daryl!! THANK YOU!!!

Daryl is an amazing captain who is super excited to help you have a good time and catch fish. He communicates early and frequently with you to ensure that you have the best time. He was super accommodating and welcoming. His boat, the Merganzer is clean and very capable with all the necessary electronics to give us the best chance of catching fish. He ran 10 poles/14 lures to ensure we caught fish. He was super hospitable, having extra clothes in case we got cold, offering us drinks and just doing a great job of taking care of us. He even gave us a couple of free hours on his boat. I can’t wait to go on another fishing trip with him. I’ve gone on a few charters before from Vancouver Island, Seattle and Party boats in Florida, Daryl hands down bests all of them.

Everything was just super. The captain did everything to make us stay happy. I recommend to everyone!

We drove upto Waukegan from new Lenox. The drive was reasonable 1.5 hrs. Met the captain at the dock and he was enthusiastic and ready to go. He Was a personable man with a great sense of humor. Seemed to know his business. We had poles out very soon. We had quite an array of baits. A couple down deep a couple out to the sides and a few mid water baits. He definitely knew what he was doing. Fishing was kind of slow this day but he worked hard to put us on the fish. We did have a few missed opportunities but that’s fishing. We ended with one. We were happy to get out and have the chance to get the big one but today was not our day.  We will definitely go back to see him again. Good experience for myself and my son. Good company. Great job captain! We’ll be back.  Thank you again.
