I was thinking about this trip for a while now. Jade Lady Charters was among the highest rated and I went with them. I’m so glad we did. The whole trip will be memorable for all of us, but especially for my 17 year old son and his friends. Captain Marion and Ben his deck mate, where very helpful and tried to make sure that we took our fair share of fish home that day. And indeed we did. 9 beautiful stripped bass, 19 inches to 27 inches. Captain Marion showed us some nice fishing techniques and our group had so much fun. I highly recommend this trip to everyone. The Captain and crew are intimately familiar with fishing in the bay and adjusted the trip based on moon phase, wind and weather.  They monitored and adjusted line depth and tackle as conditions changed.  They worked diligently at there task and it showed, paying attention to each detail.  On a personal note it was wonderful talking with the Captain about fishing these waters all his life and all the changes he’s seen.  He’s a wonderful and friendly man and was inspiring to visit with; I’d have had a great trip even if we’d been skunked (but the fishing was great).

Booked a half day afternoon trip for my in-law’s birthday mid October. Started strong and caught two keeper stripers and then just lulled into nothing. We trolled around for a better part of 2.5 hours and on our last 30 minutes, ran into more fish than we could count in that mayhem. First mate kept us locked in and reeling in fish even while lines were tangling. Ended up with 3 additional stripers each close to 30inches. Great trip. Great conversations with the captain and crew. Would recommend and look forward to booking another with them!

We had an excellent experience with JadeLady! Check in was easy and they took us out before our reserved time. We cruised around and had a blast reeling in rockfish. While the fishing was fun, the best part was the crew. Marion and Nick are down to earth and full of knowledge. Marion was happy to keep us out on the water for as long as we wanted rather than bringing us back once we hit our catch. Nick is an extremely hard worker and made fishing a breeze. Both were a true delight to spend the day with. 10/10 will do this this trip again!

We originally booked with the Lady Jane. Use to unforeseen circumstances Capt Marion has to cancel. He arranged for his son Capt Justin to take us out on Capt Justin’s boat “Biff”. Super communicative, easy to find, well equipped and very knowledgeable of the bay. We went north of the bridge anchored and immediately brought in our first keeper of the day. A couple of smaller catch and release rockfish and we were on the next spot. We ended up fishing for 5 solid hours and pretty much fought our limit. Highly recommend Capt Justin, first mate Jimmy and the Biff. Also many thanks to Capt Marion of the Lady Jade for making sure our outing happened without a hitch
