My wife and I took a few day break from the weather in Wisconsin and stayed in Key Largo. While there, we had the opportunity to spend a 1/2 day with Captain Armando, which was an exceptional experience. We caught Red Fish, Trout, hooked up to a shark (which got away), and had lots of opportunity to catch fish. We also saw manatees, dolphins, and lots of other wildlife while fishing. Overall I would definitely book again if we can get back to the keys. Thanks for everything!!

My elderly Father and I had a memorable experience fishing with Capt Armando!
He is very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and a wonderful man! My Dad will be 90 in September & has fished all over the world. We were both super impressed with Capt. Armando!

Captain Armando, was very accommodating to our schedule. We had to change twice with no problems. We kept us informed of weather conditions and what we need to bring. very punctual. Wanted for a long time to take my 8 yr old son, who loves fishing, in a great adventure, and the wait paid off.
Capt Armando was very patient with my son, and taught him proper ways to fish.Armando put us on the fish the first minute we arrived at he spot. My son lost a big shark, we caught, a couple over 8lb sea trout, same size red fish. Also a sheepshead and many other species. Continuous action all the time we were in the boat.
Definitely recommend Capt. Armando, specially to family with kids. This is your guide. Can’t wait come back again.

Captain Armando is a true professional, you will not find a charter captain who will work harder to find fish and teach you the techniques needed to succeed in catching them .
Very personable and just plain fun guy to spend a day with on the water. My wife and I had a blast can’t wait to fish with Armando again. If you want to have a quality fishing adventure with a genuinely nice and knowledgeable Captain with top notch equipment, Armando is the guy!

Can’t say enough here, bottom line feel comfortable booking him and he will make your fishing experience great.
I have been on many charters and he is the best inshore yet, you can tell he has been fishing this area for 20 years.My wife and I had a blast. Prompt, courteous and prepared.
I highly recommend A squared Charters with Armando.
His boat is clean, new top of the line and has the latest technology that keeps him putting us on fish and not messing w boat positions. Caught around 20 even though we had a slow start due to weather.Little windy but Armando moved to many of his spots finding the fish. Even got a tour seeing a 10+ crocs. We went from islands to more wind blocked channels.
Tackle bait poles a Fly poles ready to go and he always had a back up ready to go when we got snagged on the mangroves.He stayed out longer then planned just to make sure we walked away completely satisfied.
We took our filets to local fish house and they prepared them for us.
Armando we will see you again for sure in Tarpon season next.

Lots of laughs on the water and true honest fishing stories were told !!
We caught sea trout in Florida Bay and snook in the backwaters of the Everglades.
I even “JUMPED A TARPIN” which I’m told is impressive in Florida fishing lore!!
Avid fishermen or not, just looking for a fun day, I would definitely recommend this time/trip with Armando. He was professional, courteous and knew all the good spots. He even cleans your fish!!
All concerns of online booking were forgotten in 5 minutes of confirmation. Capt. Armando called and spoke to me in person and went over details of the trip. Greatly appreciated.
I would definitely book again next time we are in the keys!!

Armondo was fantastic. He is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and skilled. We missed Tarpon but saw plenty of them rolling early but didn’t miss on any other species for the remainder of the day. He extended our trip for no extra charge and we caught more fish than ever expected. I would recommend AA Squared charters highly and often. We will be back!

My sons (ages 14 and 9) and I did a half day with Captain Armando Alejo on August 13th, 2017 and it was a fantastic trip. Captain Alejo was a consummate guide, very knowledgeable, personable, patient and helpful with my sons, hardworking, and willing to do whatever it took to put us on fish. We started by hitting some grassy flats for trout, where we picked up many very nice fish (as well as some Jacks!). We then moved on to try and get some snook and tarpon, both of which we requested of the captain. While we didn’t land one, Captain Alejo put us on a lot of tarpon and it was very enjoyable working to try and catch one with my sons. It was their first experience with a fishing guide and they both loved it, asking me if we could go back the next day once we were done! Overall, Captain Alejo provided a memorable trip, not only fishing but also showing us the wonders of the Everglades. I have used many guides over the years, and I would very highly recommend Armando to anyone who wants a great experience fishing the flats in Florida!

My 13 year old son an I enjoyed an amazing full day fishing with A2 Charters. With the captain’s help we felt prepared for anything as we headed out. He took us to multiple spots where we saw an array of beautiful birds and breathtaking views. We caught an array of fish in each spot keeping the day exciting and fun. When the day was done, the captain cleaned all the fish and gave us cooking tips to create the most amazing fish tacos ever! I have always wanted to fish the backcountry . I researched a variety of captains and finally booked a trip with A2 charters. Capt. Alejo did not disappoint. The boat was impeccable, the equipment top notch, and most important the fishing was epic. I caught a slot snook, trout, snapper and redfish. The action was non-stop.
