My buddy and I took my son and his daughter fishing with Captain Cord. He was very professional and called the night before and asked if we could start a half hour earlier because the forecast was calling for wind later in our trip. We caught about 8 Spanish Mackerel, and after the trip he filet the fish for us. We would definitely use him again. He had a lot of good stories and was very friendly. Thank you Captain Cord.

My husband, our two boys (15 and 11) and I came upon Captain Cord and Hieronymus Fishing Charters via Fishing Booker somewhat last minute. We are novice fisherman but hit it off right away talking about the local surf scene.  Cord was great, he moved us around until we found fish and kept us on them until we had a good number of fish in the cooler. Booked with Capt Cord Hieronymus for half day morning trip.  We had beautiful weather and caught plenty of fish. Caught Spanish mackerel and several nice bluefish . My 14yo son had a blast! The captain was very knowledgeable and had many great stories! The boat was sturdy and fast with a new Yamaha outboard motor!  Highly recommended!

Captain Cord was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. At no fault of the Captain’s we had a difficult time finding fish during our trip.  Other charters in the other area struggled that day as well.  Which was at bit disappointing at first but Cord kept at it to ensure we caught as many fish as possible. He even extended our fishing time.  Sometimes nature doesn’t cooperate like you’d like!  All in all everyone had a good time with good people.

Been on many charters—-up and down the East coast—and Captain Cord is among the best!  Just the two of us, beautiful sunny day out of Wilmington.  We caught many more than in the photo, but the black bass were just shy of the minimum required 13”.  Lots of Spanish Mackerel, Silver Snapper, and more. He cleaned and bagged and iced all of these for the trip home. Absolutely a great choice!  Hieronymus Charters will get my business any day!
