I’m not quite sure what to make of this review. You booked a 4 hour trip with
me for inshore fishing. I explained at the start of the trip what we were going to catch and what we would be doing every step of the way. I even asked what you guys wanted to try and catch and you told me “anything.” I understand that the language barrier made it a little more challenging to explain things, but none the less, I kept trying to work and explain things
to you guys, as well as demonstrating how and what you needed to do. To say that you guys did not catch any fish is flat out untrue. Your son caught 3 sea trout and a black drum, and you caught a sheepshead. That’s 5 fish that we got to the boat and we had many more bites that you did not catch. I apologize that we did not catch any keeper sized fish, but every day is different and I can’t always control all the factors involved.

We tried fishing artificial lures for sea trout because that’s what they have been biting best. In order to get a bite on a lure, it really makes a big difference in how far you can cast a rod and how you work the lure.  I did my best to work with you on casting and how to work the bait, but I could tell it was somewhat difficult for you. So instead, I tried taking you guys to a spot we could fish with bait, in an effort to try and make things a bit easier. I’m sorry that you did not catch more fish, I can only put you where they were and hope that they will eat for you and you will be able to reel them in. I’m sorry that you were disappointed with the trip overall because it seemed like you guys were having fun. I even asked you if you had a good time after the trip to which you said “yes.”

I really wish you would have addressed this with me at the end of the trip instead of just telling me everything was good after I asked you if you had a good time. Furthermore, I gave you guys an extra half hour because the fishing was slower than normal. I would have loved to stay out longer and given you more time, but as I told you, I had another trip right after yours. What I cannot figure out is what you meant by saying that I “wouldn’t do an effort for my second fishing trip.” You did not have a second trip booked with me, nor did you ever mention a second trip. Again, I apologize and would really like to get you out there again on a better day. If you would be interested, please contact me. I would really like the chance to show you better fishing and discuss what times of year would be best.
