Captain knows what he is doing!!!  Where to go what bait to use!!  Great fishing experience and highly recommend going on this trip.

Took my son out for his 13th birthday. Had a great time with Captain Mike. We wanted to Get some fish to take home for dinner so we caught some king fish and then headed out for some more fishing on a wreck.  Red snapper and some jacks were plentiful.  Though The snapper was out of season they were great fun to catch and wore us both out.
Highly recommend a trip with Captain Mike.
Really enjoyed the reggae also!

Captain Eric of Slightly Obsessed Fishing Charters knows his stuff. He put us right on the fish from the first cast to the last. He is pleasant and accommodating as well. He helped my wife, son, and me with casting, placing our casts, and different techniques for the different fish we caught. Not only would I recommend him, I plan to book a charter with him the next time we’re in the area.

My 12 year old son and I are keen anglers and on making our first trip to Florida we knew fishing would be on the agenda. We booked a half day charter from Port Canaveral with Capt Eric Myers and when I got a call in Scotland from him to confirm the booking I knew we wouldn’t be disappointed! The target of tarpon was scuppered by the colder waters that moved in quickly just before our trip, but with a backup of ‘anything that swims’, Capt Eric was confident he could put us on fish. After a bit of a slog to find some baitfish we headed out with enough to last the session and we were very quickly into kingfish and sharks. Some mystery larger fish were occasionally grabbing the baits and trashing us on lighter gear, and we eventually figured it was mainly snappers (one accidental capture safely returned). It was a pity that some of the bigger fish didn’t come out to play, but we both had an excellent trip all the same- bucket list stuff!
Capt Eric worked hard to keep us on the fish and had his hands full unhooking and re-rigging. His communication before the trip was excellent and he made us feel very welcome aboard. Highly recommended. Cheers!
