Mike had the boat at the dock at 8 am sharp ready to go. He supplied ice, license, rods and reels and well over a hundred fresh shrimp. We stated at the Gulf end of the river and then went out to the rocks and ended the day up in the Mangrove islands.  We killed the fish. Mike’s knowledge and of where the fish were going to be paid off in over 14 slot fish and dozens of more caught and released. We ended up the day in well over 6o fish caught and released. We were a couple of novices. Captain Mike made it easy and fun. We caught one shy of our trout limit and rescued a seagull tangled in fishing line on the way back to shore.  All in all a great day spent with my visiting brother from Wisconsin.

As always we had a fish filled wonderful day…

On a terrible day to go fishing, wind howling, blowing out the tide hard to keep the boat straight. But this captain was definitely on is game. Found the fish, pulled in our limit, some Big ones and some we could not keep(laws). Great guy to just fish with. I recommend this captain to anyone who wants a good day of straight up fishing.
