3 Hour Trip - Shared (AM) MAX 6 • 4 adultsBooked a 3 hours Salmon/Trout trip with Capt Simon for 4. Only one of us was an experienced fisherman. The other 3 couldn’t case a spinner at the beginning of the trip. He was very patient with the inexperience fished and by the end of the trip they were casting like pro’s. Came home with fish and a great time was had by all. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and will be using him next time I’m in Queenstown.

3 Hour Trip - Shared (AM) MAX 6 • 2 adultsThe fishing was a little tough with the recent rainfall but Simon managed to find the fish. Totally wish we booked the 6 hour. It was very fun and we had a blast!

3 Hour Trip - Shared (AM) MAX 6 • 2 adultsThis tip on Lake Wakapitu on board the vessel Nikita with Simon the owner was a great experience and we thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone. He was exceptionally professional and very friendly. Yes we caught a few good fish but we so enjoyed this great boat with hot coffee, tea and snacks on a cold morning and it was always interesting, moving to new locations and trying different catch methods. We have been on few charters and this is among the best. Try it you won't be disappointed Paul and Megan, Lake Macquarie New South Wales Australia.

What's biting with Queenstown Fishing - Nikita in Queenstown
September is when spring slowly makes an entrance, but the weather is still likely to be a bit chilly. Enjoy alpine activities while you still can, real fishing is just around the corner.
