We had such an unforgettable time out on the water! A huge shoutout to our amazing captain, Mike — he truly went above and beyond to make our first fishing trip an experience to remember. From the moment we stepped on board, he made us feel comfortable and excited, even as total beginners. Mike is not only incredibly knowledgeable about fishing, but he also took the time to teach us everything we needed to know with patience and enthusiasm.

He shared so many helpful tips with my husband, which really added a special touch to the day. We also brought our two young kids — who can be quite a handful — and Mike was incredibly patient, kind, and engaging with them. He made sure everyone felt included, safe, and most importantly, had fun!

We went out today with Captain Mike and his first mate John to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday, and we had an absolutely fantastic time. There were six of us on board, and everything about the trip exceeded our expectations. We caught seven striped bass which was awesome for a half day trip in the sound.

Captain Mike and John were both professional, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun to be around. They made us feel comfortable right away and clearly knew the best spots to fish. The boat itself was awesome. We especially appreciated the cabin, which offered a nice shaded spot to relax and enjoy the sandwiches we brought along.

It was a perfect day on the water, and we’ll definitely be recommending this charter to others. Thanks again to Captain Mike and John for helping make our dad’s birthday so memorable.

Had a great time on an early season fishing trip with three generations of family (ages 13 to 77).  Capt Mike and Chris were a great team and highly professional! Got 5 striped bass- 4 legal size (kept one- Chris cleaned it for us) and one enormous whopper!  It didn’t look like other boats were having as much luck so lots of credit to Mike and Chris for their fish-sense in getting us in the right spots with the right rigs. Definitely would go out again with them.

His main boat was out of commission, so he had a plan B, but with the temps looking to be near 100 and my health putting me at risk he came up with a plan C and we had a wonderful day of fishing. Our group of six caught several fish each and I even hit one on the head when my bait went down. Great day. Thank you Captain Mike.

Captain Mike was excellent from the get go. He was responsive and communicative before the trip, gave instructions for parking and waiting for us at the pier. He is very kind and friendly which is so important as my young kids quickly became more comfortable and even more excited.
Captain Mike and first mate Andrew were so helpful and attentive. They taught all of us the techniques and what to expect. Captain Mike knew why other boats were in certain spots and then diverted us to more promising waters to fish. And he was right. Immediately my 5 yr old starting pulling fish on. In a matter of a few hours we pulled on over 2 dozen fish. Just an awesome experience. My kids loved it and can’t wait to go again. 1000% recommend Captain Mike for any fishing experience. Can’t wait to go again
