We had an amazing time on this fishing boat. We were able to bring along out 2yr old and our 10 month old baby which is a plus for us because we love to take our kids on these experiences and most people won’t let kids on board! We got to battle some fish and get them on the boat, laugh and share stories with the first mate and enjoy the ocean and its beauty all as a family!

We went on a 4hr morning trip. No catch on big fish when trolling deeper water, but the then shifted gears and got us on small yellow s tail, snapper, Spanish Mackerel and some barracuda. Everyone on the trip caught several fish and had a good time. Hopefully we’ll get into some bigger fish next time.

We spent a week at Atlantis on a family vacation and had a wonderful time. The highlight of our trip was the fishing trip. Mike and Chris knew were to find the fish and how to get them in the boat.

My son has always wanted to fish for mahi mahi and/or tuna in the Bahamas. So we decided to book a corresponding trip on Friday, 12.4.2024. My wife and my son’s girlfriend accompanied us.
Because it had been a bit windy and choppy all week, we decided for the boat Chubasco - 48’ from Hatteras Sportfish - Captain Mike Russel. As it was our first “real” fishing trip, we decided to book the morning trip (4 hours).
Captain Mike and his assistant arrived punctually at the agreed harbor location and the fishing tackle and bait were already ready for use. We started fishing about 15 minutes after leaving the port of Nassau. Despite the total of 4 fishing rods that we had mounted, we were unfortunately unable to record a single bite. So in the end it was a bit disappointing… but that’s the way it is with fishing…. there is no guarantee.
However… Captain Mike Rusell has certainly done a lot to find fish… unfortunately we didn’t succeed…. maybe next time !??

This was a great fishing trip. The captain was awesome and the fishing was great. His helper was awesome Also, we had a lot of great catches. Just not big enough to eat would do it again.
