The boat was well-maintained and comfortable, and James was prepared with all the gear we needed. He was patient, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a successful and enjoyable day out on the water.

I booked this trip about a week in advance for a weekday (Tuesday) for my visiting family and I. Booking was fairly straight forward and simple to do. Communications and expectations were communicated in advance, so all parties knew, going into the day, what to expect. Captain James was friendly and knowledgeable, as was his first mate. Boat ran great the whole day, and we immediately started catching fish at our first spot. We even hooked into some big ones but were unable to get them close to the boat before the line went slack due to being cut by the fish (we think it may have been shark or something really big!). Hit a bit of a midday slump, but after hitting a few different spots, we finally got back on some fish to close out the day. Even got to see a pod of humpback whales swim nearby, which was an unexpected plus. We caught a lot of fish, but due to season had to throw a lot of them back. It was great to have guides that were knowledgeable on what species were in season and size restrictions for various fish. Overall great time and had a lot of fun catching some fish. Even got to take some home to cook up for dinner. Absolutely recommend!

We recently had the opportunity to go out fishing with family(see prior review from my in-laws). We had a great time with James and Duncan. They were very knowledgeable and made sure we had a good time. James went above and beyond to make sure we caught fish,  he even jumped in the water to make sure one of the fish didn’t get away :). While on vacation visiting our kids in St. Mary’s, Georgia we took a fishing trip with Rainbreak Charter. We had an excellent time. Captain James and his son Duncan were very personable and knowledgeable. They knew exactly where to go to get our live bait and to catch our fish. We had a blast and would absolutely book with them again. They have taken very good care of their boat and equipment. This was first time and I am not an avid fisherman so they helped us with everything. Very encouraging and kind. We were active the entire time with catching fish.  Such a fun experiment and would definitely go again.

James and his son took us to a couple really cool spots to catch some fish. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. James gave step by step instructions on how to reel in a fish while I was actually reeling in the fish, which was extremely helpful and made it easy to land the fish. I highly recommend James!
