Great overall experience. Crew was super friendly and knowledgeable, they even called ahead of time to give us a heads-up and provide some options for very choppy conditions. We only caught a few fish (including a small shark) due to lobster and diving activities scattered everywhere and 4+ waves/waters, still a great time, and got so mess with hooking some very large sharks which was fun for the kids. I would definitely book again.

Our extended family gathered in south FL from 6 different cities to celebrate my nephew’s graduation this December. When my father in-law asked me to setup “some sort of fishing outing” for all of us I did a good bit of research and decided that the Southern Comfort IV was exactly what we needed. So glad I found them and it was WELL worth the 45 min drive from LBTS. Captain Bill and his mate, Scott, took great care of us. Super relaxed vibe, next to no down time, and we took home close to 20lbs of cero mackerel and yellowtail snapper! I’d definitely book this boat again and I’ve already recommended it to some of my friends.

We fished with Captain Bill, September 10 and 11.  Fishing was slow, but Bill and mates did everything they could do to catch fish.  If they aren’t biting they aren’t biting.  On the September 10 trip we did catch a good sized Wahoo along with a few other fish, including a barracuda, yellow tail.  September 11 we chased out 10 miles and then trolled back.  Long and short Captain Bill could done mothing more to snag more fish, and certainly the Wahoo on Friday was a heck of a highlight for us, as well as Scotty, the mate.  I think he was more excited than we were.  Though not a boatload of fish, still two great days with Captain Bill and team.  Highlight for me in addition to a great couple of days with my grandsons, but I met John Schultz the owner of the boat, as well as the son of Herbie Schultz, the captain that took me on my first deep sea fishing trip 67 years ago on the original Southern Comfort.

Captain Mike Cox’s and his crew George were great people caught plenty of fish. I would recommend this charter to anyone!

Wonderful morning fishing trip. It was a beautiful day. Having air conditioning and a bathroom on board was really nice. We only caught a few fish but we had such a great time. People who love what they do makes for great memories. Highly recommend. Professional and friendly.
