We took a group of five on a half-day trip with Captain Cody last weekend. He took the trip last minute and was very communicative from the start. We launched around 7:30 am and the first two hours we fished long and hard with no luck whatsoever. It started to look like we were going to get skunked but Cody kept putting us on new spots across the Laguna Madre, never giving up.

Once we fished our 7th or 8th location, we hit the jackpot! We started out catching a few hardheads and ended up with a mixed bag ranging from black drum to a 28” monster red fish. Overall we had a great time and were really appreciative that Cody didn’t give up and put us on fish. We had my son and nephew with us who are ALL boy, and Cody was very patient with them even when our lines got tangled.

I would definitely recommend Captain Cody as your next guide! You’ll be glad you did.
