My wife and I had a wonderful time fishing with Captain Toni for Big Game and Tuna! He was so incredibly easy to work with, being flexible with changes in weather, and his kindness and passion for fishing led to us catching a number of different species including pink snapper, red scorpion fish , and a trophy size Dentex! The Tuna fishing was tough today, but we still had such a beautiful time on the Adriatic. We would definitely recommend Captain Toni and hopefully are able to fish with him again on our next visit to Hvar!

We recently enjoyed a fantastic fishing boat trip with Captain Toni, and it was an unforgettable experience for our family of four. With two boys aged 5 and 10, and not much fishing experience, we were a bit nervous about how things would go. But from our very first chat, Toni made us feel completely at ease. Locals had already spoken highly of him, so we knew we were in great hands.

Throughout the day, Toni was amazing with our kids—patient, kind, and always encouraging. He was super flexible, open to our suggestions, and adapted the trip to suit us. While we didn’t have much luck with trolling, our luck turned around with jigging. We ended up catching plenty of fish, including a medium-sized John Dory, Little Tunny, Pink Snapper, and Red Snapper. It was thrilling for all of us, and the boys were absolutely delighted.

Since we were staying at a hotel, Toni even took the time to clean the fish for us so we could have it cooked later. His attention to detail and genuine care made the experience feel so special. We all had an incredible time, and our boys can’t wait to go out fishing again.

If you’re visiting Hvar and want a memorable day on the water, we can’t recommend Captain Toni enough. A perfect family adventure!

My wife and I booked a tuna fishing trip with Captain Toni out of Hvar. We were in Croatia for our honeymoon and I wanted to share a hobby of mine with my wife. A thunderstorm rolled in on the day of, captain Toni was responsive by messaging us and letting us know that the outing may need to be rescheduled for the next day. Luckily we went out the next day in attempt to find some tuna. I told Toni beforehand that I would like to try for tuna, but would love to catch anything that the Adriatic sea had to offer if the tuna wasn’t biting. Over the course of the day Toni took us to various fishing spots in order to try for different fish species, as well as chasing tuna around bait balls. Towards the end we managed to catch a handful of red snapper and a john Dory. We both enjoyed our trip fishing, drinking, enjoying Toni’s company and learning more about croatia. Toni went above and beyond by getting us to a spot to catch some fish and then making sure we had accomodations to eat what we caught. This trip was one of my favorite memories about croatia, it turned into the best meal we had in Croatia and I had a great time hanging out with Toni in the boat. I recommend Captain Toni to anyone who would like to fish the Adriatic. We are both grateful for our experience with him. Cheers!

My two sons (13 and 17), and I joined Toni for a day’s fishing from Hvar Port. The boat is fully equipped and comfortable and we got a very warm and friendly welcome from Toni and Phillip (Toni’s friend and assistant for the day).

Toni quite clearly knows these waters and all the most likely fishing spots - the first few spots yielded not much, so we went for ‘Plan B’ which worked a treat! We all caught some fantastic Red Snappers, a Bream, two Moray Eels and the biggest catch of the day a huge Dentex Snapper caught by my youngest son. Phillip took some great photos of our catches with his special fisherman’s lens!! If you are in Hvar and love fishing we would strongly recommend Toni for a truly professional and fun day of fishing. We look forward to returning next year.

Had an amazing experience with Toni! He was quick to respond to questions our group had about the upcoming trip and made our experience an amazing one. As it is with fishing, sometimes they don’t bite. He put us on the fish and worked extremely hard to make sure we had the opportunities to bring in a tuna, but we couldn’t make it work. Since we did the Fishing and Island tour, we left the fishing grounds after a few hours and went to the blue cave experience. Toni suggested we go to a local beach after getting the tickets and hang out until the blue cave experience was available. He kept an eye on the time and made sure we got back for the boat. He then took us to another beach that was absolutely amazing. I’d book with Toni again in a heartbeat. He cared about our experience and worked hard to make sure we had a good time. Hopefully, next time the fish will bite for us!
