JP is a tremendous guide, he has a ton of knowledge and is amazing with children. We caught peacock bass, largemouth bass, Oscar and Gar.  Stayed on fish all day.

JP was absolutely ON THE FISH as soon as we anchored! He knew what he was doing and not only guided us putting us on the fish, but guided us on how to catch the fish! We felt safe the entire time and loved meeting Sheila the gator while catching Peacock Bass and Oscar. As well, the next day we went 1000’ offshore catching Mahi! JP is one of the best charters out there. He is always teaching you and showing u how to catch fish better, we did the half day am and caught around 20 fish, he is an experienced Captian and always making the adventure more fun. He’s really good with kids and always helping and cracking jokes. Thank you for the experience!

This was our first time fishing in the Everglades.  Captain JK is knowledgeable about fishing of course- but he also knows about the history of the place, and about all of the wildlife- plants, trees, birds.  It was so enriching- he is a great teacher- so knowledgeable but also patient and fantastic with my 14 year old.  His boat and gear and top notch- it was great fun going super fast along the canal to the fishing spot- especially on a blazing hot August day.  Oh and the fishing? ... Cheese and Rice! What a great trip! JP was a great story teller and kept my son and I on the fish the whole day! Can’t wait for our next trip out with him! My son said this was the best fishing trip of his life. Thanks again JP!
