Captain Jim and first mate Jerry were excellent.  It was obvious that they had many years experience out on Lake Ontario.  My father and I each caught our limit, the largest being an 18 lb King Salomon.  Jerry even cleaned and packaged up all the fish for us, and taught my dad a trick to remove the bone so the fillets were ready to throw on the grill that night.  My father is a very experienced fisher himself and was very impressed with the operation.  I would recommend anyone to charter a boat with this company, we made some great memories and caught some really big beautiful fish.

Another good day fishing with Capt. Jim.Mate today was Wyatt who is also a charter boat captain.The captains mate for each other at times if the regular mate isn’t available.We started out fishing for Brons and had 2 quick Bites.Lost one at the boat.The water was really to clear to adequately fish for Brown so Capt Jim moved us to deepwater and we gaught 3 lake trout the 2 biggest were 10 lbs each. WE were also able to catch a few Small Coho salmon who actually foul hooked themselves.WE had plenty of bites and landed 6 fish.The captain tried all sort of different methods to get us fish.Planner boards,led core line,Down riggers to name a few.If they fish stopped biting they changed things up.WE were also very happy their Knowledge and this is the 4th or 5th trip i have booked with him.Both very knowledgeable and were very fun to talk to with many fishing stories amongst other things.will be booking my brown trout trip again in the nest month when i figure out our work scgedules.Highly recommend.Thanks Capt Jim and Wyatt for and enjoyable and perfect weather day and to get us into the fish,

A great day of fishing completely attributed to our Captain James Van Hooft and first mate Corey. Their experience and knowledge gave us the best fishing experience we had had to date. Many bites and we were able to catch 4 very large king Salmon.  We are so looking forward to setting up our next trip and hoping to book with Captain James again. We have other anglers wanting to join us on the next trip.

Captain Jim and his first mate Cody were amazing. Jim is honest and great as they come. He told me it was a rough week leading up to our trip and kept it honest as can be leading up. He had us on the fish all day and provided the best experience you can ask for. When the fishing slowed down, he and his mate were calling their fiends to see what was happen. As soon as they changed tactics, we were on again. Captain Jim was amazing. Cody was the best and I can’t wait for our trip with them next summer.

We did this charter to celebrate our anniversary and it didn’t disappoint!  Captain Jim knew his stuff and got us on the fish quickly and it never stopped. There was one big fish we knew we had on but lost the battle, boy I would have loved to see that one!  Cody his first mate was a hard working high school student with a great attitude. He made us laugh throughout the whole trip.  We caught King Salmon and one Steelhead We will definitely be back to fish with Captain Jim again!!
