An awesome experience! The crew were incredibly helpful, taking us out on the boat to the best spots to find fish, baiting our hooks, and teaching us how to fish. Even if you’re a beginner, you’re guaranteed a great fishing experience. Each of us caught several fish, and the crew also advised on the tastiest parts and the best ways to cook them. We had a fantastic day on the May Marie, mostly due to our skippers. Kerry and Trent are incredibly experienced and taught us heaps as well as running around after the five of us, baiting hooks, taking fish off and then expertly filleting them for us at the end of the day. Apart from brilliant skippers, the boat was well set up, they had all the best fishing gear and we felt we had a really authentic kiwi fishing experience.
