I am a Destin born native and have fished and lived here for my entire life. Growing up here is an awesome blessing especially for an avid fisherman like myself. When I was younger deep sea fishing trips were a rare and special treat for me so I looked for every opportunity to get out and fish anyway I could. I'll never forget the excitement and adventure of reeling In my first fish and that is a feeling I strive to bring all my clients big or small. I am by no means the best fisherman around and will never claim to be, but I strive to be the best at showing my clients an experience out on the water they will never forget. Since I never had the privilege of fishing as often as most others in the area I learned not to take any fishing trip for granted, and I treat every trip that steps foot on my boat the same way. I understand the value of these experiences and do everything in my power to make the most out of every fishing trip.

    Awesome day for me and my sons

    THE 85O(CAPTAIN'S CHOICE) Deep Sea • 3 adults

    captain Philip was a really great guide. wish we would have booked two days with him instead of a different service we fished with the first day. He worked the boat and top/bottom pole to get us on fish. It was a slow start (even to the other guides we heard on the radio), but he kept at it, and moved to areas and kept at it. It payed off for a fantastic multi species catch. We got on red snapper, red grouper, triggerfish, and caught two beautiful king mackrel. Id attribute it to his knowledge and persistence. Great guide, great boat, and an awesome fishing experience we wont forget. Will 100% be back and fish with him again. Couldn’t recommened better!

    We had an incredible experience on the 5-hour deep sea fishing charter with Captain Philip! From the moment we left the dock, it was clear he is an expert in his field. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and took the time to explain his unique approach to fishing, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Even though fishing is never guaranteed, Captain Philip put us on some amazing fish, and we ended up catching several impressive big game fish. His experience, patience, and ability to read the water really showed throughout the trip. If you’re looking for a captain who genuinely loves what he does and works hard to give you the best possible experience, Captain Philip is the one to book. We had an absolute blast and would love to go out with him again. Highly recommend!

    Core memory made! This was the kids' first chartered fishing trip, and it couldn't have been a better experience with 850 Charters. Captain Phillip was amazing with the kids from the very beginning. He took the time to explain everything, made them feel comfortable, and put us on the fish! From catching bait at the jetty to trolling and landing King Mackerel and Tuna, every minute of our 4-hour trip was unforgettable. If you're looking for a fun, family-friendly fishing charter, we highly recommend 850 Charters and Captain Phillip. We'll definitely be back!

    By now youve probably searched and compared a bunch of different charters…well, let me help you out…BOOK HERE! 850 Charters ensures that you WILL have a blast…from the moment we hopped on the boat Captain Philip made us feel welcomed and ensured this trip was exactly what we wanted. We booked the 6hr afternoon trip. There was no lack of excitement, fish hitting/catching, laughs, and TONS of “wow-moments”! I cannot recommend 850 charters enough and I promise you, you’ll walk away feeling the same…with a cooler full of fish and memories to last you a lifetime!

    Captain Jared was super accommodating from allowing us to shift our trip to another day due to weather to forgiving us for being an hour late due to an unexpected road closure. He knew with the weather and the water what fish to set us up for and where to find them. We learned so much from him and caught plenty of yummy fish! We look forward to going out with him again in the future!

    Captain Philip knocked today out of the park. We crushed red snapper and grouper. Just when we thought we were ending on a high note...we found the King Mackeral and landed 3 beautiful keepers. Best charter Ive had in years recommend anyone check them out. Thanks Captain Philip for the memory for years to come!

    Captain Philip was AMAZING!!! He took us to one spot and we caught our limit of red snapper within 10 minutes. Gorgeous weather and the beat of times!!! Highly recommend 850 Charters!!!

    wake up, mangrove snapper, and we caught some red snapper Spanish mackerel hooked into a couple big groupers, but could not land them. Captain worked really hard to get us on fish, but the bite was a little bit slow today, but that’s OK that’s part of fishing, but we did catch a pretty good bit of fish. Had a great time. The captain was great.
