Depending on time of year, tide, and the latest bite intelligence, you might hook into Snapper, Redfish, Shark, Bluefish, Little Tuni, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Jack species or mahi mahi.
On trips of 4 hours or longer you may catch in season fish to take home or have cooked at a local restaraunt, so long as regulations allow. Plus, fish cleaning and freezer bags are included in the price, so no worry, stress free experience!
You'll be dropping lines from a 26' Parker center console with room for 6 passengers. This boat comes rigged with a trolling motor that will hold you firmly over the spot so your captain can spend all his time tending to your group rather than behind the helm constantly maneuvering the boat. Top of the line rods, reels, tackle, and state of the art electronics are all equipped on this fishing machine.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
We also offer child-specific charters, so bring 'em aboard and get the kids hooked while they're young! Coast Guard spec Type-1 Child-sized life vests are included, Although we do allow you to bring your own puddle jumper or personal vest that your kids may be more comfortable in and used to.
A few items you'll want to bring include bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and snacks.

We had an incredible experience out on the water with Captain Jared, who made the entire trip fun, engaging, and especially kid-friendly for our family. Our two sons (ages 11 and 12) had an absolute blast and were smiling the entire time. Captain Jared did a fantastic job keeping the boys involved, helping them with their lines, and celebrating every catch, which made it even more special for them. We ended up catching 21 assorted fish, which was perfect for our kids—they loved the constant action and excitement of reeling them in one after another. If you’re looking for a family-friendly fishing trip where the kids will stay entertained and make lasting memories, we highly recommend Captain Jared!

We’ve been on several fishing charters in the last few years. This was by far the best we’ve had. We caught multiple fish, most were keepers and that was the goal, take fish home! Jared was great, he was knowledgeable easy to get along with, put us on the fish and wasn’t afraid to change it up to keep us bringing them in. We will definitely be going with Jared again when we go back to Destin.

This was our 4th trip with Captain Jared. Of the 15 or so captains we've had on charters, he's by far our favorite. He's put us on fish every time, is flexible on what to target based on your goals and he knows where to find the fish. On top of all his fishing knowledge, he's a great guy who's fun to spend several hours with on the water. He's fantastic with my teenage son too. Can't recommend Captain Jared highly enough!
850 charters was an excellent choice for an outstanding fishing trip. The morning was rainy but Captain Jared did his best to give us the greatest experience possible. He was flexible and pushed the time back to get the best weather. We had a great time and had a blast catching fish! I spent a lot of time reading reviews to determine who to book with. Jared is personable and energetic. he made the trip fun and he worked hard to put us on fish. caught red grouper, Vermillion, trigger fish, king mackerel and amberjack. would fish with him again.

I am a Destin born native and have fished and lived here for my entire life. Growing up here is an awesome blessing especially for an avid fisherman like myself. When I was younger deep sea fishing trips were a rare and special treat for me so I looked for every opportunity to get out and fish anyway I could. I'll never forget the excitement and adventure of reeling In my first fish and that is a feeling I strive to bring all my clients big or small. I am by no means the best fisherman around and will never claim to be, but I strive to be the best at showing my clients an experience out on the water they will never forget. Since I never had the privilege of fishing as often as most others in the area I learned not to take any fishing trip for granted, and I treat every trip that steps foot on my boat the same way. I understand the value of these experiences and do everything in my power to make the most out of every fishing trip.
