captain Philip was a really great guide. wish we would have booked two days with him instead of a different service we fished with the first day. He worked the boat and top/bottom pole to get us on fish. It was a slow start (even to the other guides we heard on the radio), but he kept at it, and moved to areas and kept at it. It payed off for a fantastic multi species catch. We got on red snapper, red grouper, triggerfish, and caught two beautiful king mackrel. Id attribute it to his knowledge and persistence. Great guide, great boat, and an awesome fishing experience we wont forget. Will 100% be back and fish with him again. Couldn’t recommened better!

He made the trip fun, kept everything organized, and shared plenty of tips along the way. We had an incredible experience on the 5-hour deep sea fishing charter with Captain Philip! From the moment we left the dock, it was clear he is an expert in his field. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and took the time to explain his unique approach to fishing, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Even though fishing is never guaranteed, Captain Philip put us on some amazing fish, and we ended up catching several impressive big game fish. His experience, patience, and ability to read the water really showed throughout the trip. If you’re looking for a captain who genuinely loves what he does and works hard to give you the best possible experience, Captain Philip is the one to book. We had an absolute blast and would love to go out with him again. Highly recommend!

Core memory made! This was the kids' first chartered fishing trip, and it couldn't have been a better experience with 850 Charters. Captain Phillip was amazing with the kids from the very beginning. He took the time to explain everything, made them feel comfortable, and put us on the fish! From catching bait at the jetty to trolling and landing King Mackerel and Tuna, every minute of our 4-hour trip was unforgettable.
