Great boat! Conditions were perfect. We motored out a few miles and Captain Humberto’s mate Christopher loaded us up and before you know it we had three rods screaming! We got into Mahi and plenty of wahoo! Everyone was cranking until their arms hurt. This was a trip of a lifetime, and lots of great memories of the beautiful blue water surrounding Puerto Rico. This is a great trip for first timers or experienced anglers alike.

Captain and crew were great. Got us right on top of the tuna quick and a few bonito.

So fishing was slow for the first 4 hours and 2/3 of my gang was feeling seasick.  Then the captain and first mate changed our fishing approach by using different bait.  Wow we started being too busy to be worried about anything but if we could get the Wahoo in without being eaten by the sharks that were attacking them as well.  Fun and we had plenty of Wahoo for a great grilling of our catch that afternoon.  A trip to remember.

I took my two boys and brother out on Double Hook for a full day marlin trip. While we only caught a small bonita and a rainbow runner, we all had a good time.  Capt Humberto and the first mate Chris were both very professional and worked hard to get us onto some fish, but it just wasn’t to be that day. I would go out again with Double Hook and would recommend my friends to use them as well.
