Messaged Captain Humberto I would love to find a big Mahi, and he certainly delivered a fantastic trip for me & my two kids.  Started off slow, but then first mate Christopher spotted a bird diving for bait fish, a sure sign of predator fish pushing them up.  Landed 4 large Mahi, including a beast in the last hour of the trip Christopher & Humberto provided a memorable trip.  Highly recommend Dramamine & ginger as waves are commonly 6’+!

It was a great day for fishing. My husband hooked into a 110-lb white marlin that made the whole trip worth it. Unfortunately, that was all that was caught. But. Capt Humberto made sure to try every location he could to find those elusive fish. The problem was the lack of the seaweed wall that the small fish hide in that attracts the large fish. But, when we go back, we are definitely going to fish with Double Hook Charters again.

Booked a 3/4 day trip with Captain Humberto during a boys’ trip to Puerto Rico. Captain Humberto and the deckhand showed up with a cooler full of snacks, cokes, and waters. We quickly hit the water and started trolling for Mahi, and the reels soon started screaming. The deckhand was very helpful and even showed us some of the techniques used to lure the fish. Comminucation was awesome, equipment was ready for any fish. Landed my bucket list fish. We will see you guys next year.

We had a great time fishing. It is especially fun when they are biting. We caught 5 MahiMahi and one blue Marlin.
