This was our crew’s first Charter.  The experience was even more than we expected, in all the ways.  We are very grateful for the opportunity that we enjoyed that morning, thanks God.

Double Hook exceeded our expectations.  Capt. Humberto tried his best in keeping us on our feet in rough seas “for us” and Chistopher, the first maid, put our crew write on the fish.  This young man knows our local waters, knows the equipment and the baits.  Chis cleaned our catch and also set it up for our cooler.

We very much enjoy nailing some Yellowfin Tuna(3), Blackfin Tuna(1)  and Blue Marlin(1) that we released responsibly.  Preparing our fresh tuna at home was great.

Don’t think it over, verify fishing conditions and sea conditions.  If it’s your first time, remember your motion sickness meds.

We are planning our next trip.

Went with a group of 6, captain is very knowledgeable and has a great view on the second deck. He was able to identify schools of mahi, and tuna. We had so much fun we went the next day again. You can comfortably book with Humberto and know you will be in good hands. We caught lots of mahi, tuna, had a 100 lb Wahoo on the line twice but lost it. Can’t wait to come back to slay the Marlin!

Capt Humberto did a great job with me and my boys.  The boat was great, well stocked, and comfortable.  Unfortunately both of them got sick pretty early on as the waves were really choppy - something very common in these waters so you need to know that going in and prepare accordingly.  (Dramamine the night before too!).  We did catch two kingfish before cutting it short though which was awesome!

Group of 5 guys. Caught 6 fish (all black fin tuna). Also tried for sword fish. Got a catch initially but then lost it.

Highly recommend taking Dramamine prior to trip and then again during the trip,
