We had a wonderful day fishing with Jack. He was attentive with my wife in helping her cast and giving pointers on where the fish were.We even doubled up a couple times! Kept us on fish throughout the day which made the trip fun.Would definitely recommend him for a guided trip.

Our experience with Captain Jack was top notch!  The trip was for my 13 year old son and I, and it was our first time on Traverse Bay.  We came away with a fish just under 5 lbs and several more in the 3lbs range.  We fished every type of terrain the bay had to offer from shallow rock fields, to depth line transitions to submerged points in 20 plus feet, coming away with fish at each.  We had a great day with guide knowledgeable about the fishery, the history of the area, and who is truly... This was our second year fishing with Jack. We had a wonderful time and caught some big fish! Look forward to fishing with him again!

Captain Jack did a great job teaching us how to fish for smallmouth bass.  Better yet, he put us in places all over West Bay where caught very large smallmouth bass.  He is also very much fun to spend time fishing with.  As an additional bonus he let us fish longer than our scheduled time frame.  We’ll fish with Captain Jack again!

My son and I went to Traverse in early July for a fishing trip. We booked captain Jack and he made it easy and smooth leading up to the charter. The weather was not ideal but Captain Jack made it happen. All his equipment was perfect! We caught about 10 and had a great time. Captain Jack is the man!
