The kids’ fishing trip with Captain Jimmy was a major highlight of our Miami vacation. Jimmy was a natural with my kids, aged 7 and 12, who had fished only once before. Jimmy was friendly and patient, engaging, and so knowledgeable about the marine life we encountered.  He found a calm, quiet spot where my kids caught grunt, triggerfish, and even a hogfish! (He pulled out all of the stops to make sure they caught fish!) I would highly recommend booking with Jimmy.  My son is now asking when we can go fishing again!

This was a trip my partner and I went on while visiting Miami for vacation. I had never fished before while he had. Captain Jimmy taught me the fishing basics/skills and went out of his way to help me catch fish. He helped my partner with more intermediate skills. We the day with snorkeling. Captain Jimmy truly went above and beyond make sure we had a great time. We learned so much! His nephew also assisted on the boat and was just as kind and helpful. Would recommend this trip to all, but especially those in a group or pair with different levels of fishing experience.

Captain Jimmy and First Mate Anthony hosted us for a an enjoyable 3 hour kids cruise out of Biscayne Bay in late March. Weather was nice, breezy, and warm. We fished inland and caught Chubb, Baracuda, and a lovely Crevalle Jack. Jimmy was great coaching my 14 year old through a 5-7 min fight to land a really nice Jack. Overall highly recommend.

Doesn’t get better than sunny day, smooth water, and catching lunch. Captain is knowledgeable of the area, the fish, and how to catch em and great at helping talk you through how to get the fish in and not breaking the line. Went with my kid and Captain Jimmy showed us a great time. Took the catch to restaurant he recommended where they cooked it and served it up hot and fresh. Awesome overall experience and highly recommend!

Captain Jimmy and his mate were great. We were on mother/son outting and they great teachers for me, a novice. We told them that we’d like to catch a variety of species and hoped to snag at least one good-sized fish. We did all of that and had a great time. Jimmy was generous with his time and made sure we had something good to eat for dinner. I would recommend Capt. Jimmy!
