Salty Habitz Fishing – Key Biscayne 

My son has wanted to catch a shark for years now but we never had luck. Our captain said he’s gonna do everything he can to make sure we get on the sharks, and he kept his promise! We hooked a monster and fought it to the surface. Best trip I’ve had ever! Thanks captain!

My son and I had a great time fishing in Key Biscayne, FL. My son really wanted to catch some barracuda for the first time. He caught his first barracuda on his first cast of the morning! We caught our fair share of barracuda, jack and snapper. We finished the day strong with my son hooking up with a nice blacktip shark. Captain Jimmy knows how/where to find the fish! We will definitely fish with him again next year.

Captain Jimmy and his mate were great. We were on mother/son outting and they great teachers for me, a novice. We told them that we'd like to catch a variety of species and hoped to snag at least one good-sized fish. We did all of that and had a great time. Jimmy was generous with his time and made sure we had something good to eat for dinner. I would recommend Capt. Jimmy!

Fishing has always been a passion, deep sea fishing has always been a dream. Today for my 40th birthday I was blessed to go on an amazing adventure with Captin Jimmy. Captain Jimmy helped make my dream come true with his knowledge of the water and the beautiful fish he guided me to catch the coveted Sail Fish. We couldn't have been more excited! The energy on the boat was relaxed but social leaving no need for additional stimulating. Captain Jimmy answered every question we had about the fish, the water, the boat and the process. He was professional and polite, never making the ride uncomfortable for two ladies. I can only hope we will be so blessed return to Miami and another outstanding fishing day with the Captain and crewman.

Was not sure between 4 or 8 hours. We did the 8 hours and so glad we did. We caught several different types of fish (more than we could possibly show) and time flew by. It was our first time salt water fishing and captain Jimmy has a ton of knowledge and took us to several great spots. He knows where the fish are and what amount of time to spend at each spot to really maximize catching fish. Captain Jimmy really made a great trip for us. Although it looks like the same big fish, we both caught one and let me tell you they put up a fight and it takes time and work to reel that size in for us newbies. We were surprised by how much fight these fish had. Glad we ended with the big ones because we were exhausted after. Fantastic experience.

Captain Jimmy showed us a magical and fun fishing experience!!! We caught 7 different species: Grunt, strawberry grouper, Barracuda that got off by biting the lines--repeatedly!!! shark(s)-- one the grabbed my fish on the line and ran with it until it broke... yellow fin, Covina and a beautiful Parrot fish along with several Remora's Sucker Fish! Wishing we landed a Barracuda but hopefully next time! Highly recommend him for repeated fishing outings... knowledge of many, many sea related topics, masters prepared captain navigated us through some roughish seas very skillfully and smoothly. The excitement is tangible and the fun is unimaginable. Thank you Jimmy for the experience and the memories and we will see you sometime in the future for sure!!! The morning started out gloomy. There was a huge rain cloud that we waited for to pass. The day turned out to be beautiful once the clouds passed. Fishing with Capt. Jimmy was amazing. When I arrived, the boat was in the water, bait and gear ready. We did some inshore and offshore fishing. Capt. Jimmy was very safety conscious, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was very kind and answered all my questions and I had a lot. I am not the greatest fisherwoman, but Capt. Jimmy gave me some pointers and promised we would not leave until I caught a fish. He delivered on his promise. I didn't realize how big the fish was until I saw the picture. Capt. Jimmy's main goal was customer satisfaction and he accomplished that, very admirable. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Capt. Jimmy and the Salty Habitz Fishing Charter.

What a great day. Capt Jimmy hosted us for a fantastic 4 hour trip. my 12 year old daughter had a blast. Certainly booking him again next time we are in town.

We had an absolute blast with Capt. Jimmy! We went offshore fishing in tandem with an inshore fishing experience as well! My wife and I recently started fishing and this experience allowed her to catch her first fish ? since the start of this new hobby. First Class individual in Capt.
