I recently had the pleasure of fishing with Captain Matthew, and despite less-than-ideal fishing conditions, he made our day unforgettable. Captain Keegan’s deep knowledge of the local waters, having been born and raised in the area, truly shone through. His personable nature and expertise ensured that we still managed to catch fish and enjoy every moment on the water.

Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a beginner, Captain Matthew is an excellent guide who caters to all skill levels. His passion for fishing and dedication to providing a great experience are evident in everything he does. I would absolutely recommend Captain Matthew to anyone visiting Marco Island, and I look forward to fishing with him again on my next trip!

Booked a 3/4 day fishing trip for my husband and son, along with my son’s best friend and his dad. What a day!!!! They came home with the biggest smiles and memories of one of the best fishing days they have ever had. We are local to Naples and my husband and son love to fish, and thus have used many charter companies in the past, but this one was among the very best and did not disappoint! They caught over a hundred and twenty fish of varying types. Everyone went home with enough fish for not only dinner that night, but for the next night as well! They said the captain knew all the best spots, got them on fish every time, and came home raving about the experience! We will definitely book this trip again, we feel so blessed to have found Unchartered Adventures….I cant imagine choosing another charter from now on. We highly recommend!!!

We fished with Captain Matthew in November.  Had never fished with him before, but after day one I knew we had a guide for life - and I also knew we had to book more days during the week we were visiting.

I cannot say enough good things about Matt or the way that he runs his business.  He’s a born fisherman and a great teacher who obviously knows and loves what he is doing.  Hire this guy - listen to what he tells you to do and be prepared to catch a lot of great fish (we did).

Conditions were not always ideal while we were there but Matt knows his water and if the fish were not biting we kept moving (often to spots with no other boats in sight).  Several times he said “I’ve got an idea - let’s move after this cast” - more often than not the new spot spot held great fish (including the two tarpon that I hooked and lost). 

We had a great time fishing with Captain Matt and will book again every time we return to Florida.

We stopped at multiple spots and captain put us on fish at all the spots. Hooks were always baited and captain knew what fish were on before the fish were visible.  We had the excitement of shark, tarpon, jack crevalle, snapper, trout and many other species. Good trip and would recommended Captain Matt. Very friendly and knowledgeable and shared many tips to help us fill the freezer.

Solid half day trip. Even though the snook fishing had been slow, Matt put us on a few and we boated a load of good size trout. He came well stocked with bait, did a great job handling hang ups and snags from three anglers, and kept us moving forward o new spots when it got slow. All told, we put close to 20 fish in the boat so the action was steady. I would 100% fish with Captain Matt again.
