We fished with Captain Matthew in November.  Had never fished with him before, but after day one I knew we had a guide for life - and I also knew we had to book more days during the week we were visiting.

I cannot say enough good things about Matt or the way that he runs his business.  He’s a born fisherman and a great teacher who obviously knows and loves what he is doing.  Hire this guy - listen to what he tells you to do and be prepared to catch a lot of great fish (we did).

Conditions were not always ideal while we were there but Matt knows his water and if the fish were not biting we kept moving (often to spots with no other boats in sight).  Several times he said “I’ve got an idea - let’s move after this cast” - more often than not the new spot spot held great fish (including the two tarpon that I hooked and lost). 

We had a great time fishing with Captain Matt and will book again every time we return to Florida.

I recently booked a fishing trip with Unchartered Adventures, joined by my father-in-law and two brothers-in-law, and it was a fantastic experience! Captain Matthew expertly navigated the waters around Marco Island and found us prime spots where we caught 11 mangrove snappers. Despite our varying skill levels, mostly beginners, he was incredibly patient and helpful, baiting our lines and assisting when we got our baits stuck. Captain Matthew’s friendly and relaxed demeanor made the trip enjoyable for all of us. His guidance and expertise ensured we had a memorable day on the water. Highly recommend!

My wife, father and I had a great morning fishing adventure with Captain Matt.  He brought us to a few great spots and provided good coaching and tips so that all 3 of us had a successful outing.  Even my wife who only fishes once ever few years left feeling confident and had a great time after reeling in many fish.  We caught a few keepers that Matt cleaned for us and we ate that night for dinner.  Great experience all around.

We had the pleasure of boarding Matthew’s vessel and having the best day of fishing.  Matthew knows the best spots and had us on the fish quickly.  Matthew was extremely knowledgeable, provided all of the gear we needed and kept us catching fish (Snook, Snapper, and Jack) the whole charter.  Will definitely call on Matthew for any future trips.

We booked this charter when our original one cancelled on us and I’m fortunate it did because my family had the best time. Matthew knew the waters, where to fish for what. We caught fish at all his locations, has great stories to tell and overall had an amazing time and my boys can’t wait to go back and fish with him again.
